Myotis and wood carvings. A huge thankyou to Tarkheki for her help on researching the NWP styles and informing me that Myotis are the species up in her area.
I am very pleased with the way the woodgrain came out. The bats on the pole are my own invention based very loosely on images I've seen. There is also probably a degree of a maori influence which came through in this case.
