Description
Just finished it. I muffed the right side calligraphy. It was horribly wonky. Finally I chose to cut it out entirely, rewrite it on a separate sheet of vellum parchment and then pasted it in through the back.
Based on a Book of Hours attributed to Jacque de Besacon, 15th C French.

This is gorgeous - I especially love the flower-filled golden circles. The calligraphy turned out beautifully too, even if it sounds like it was a pain to get it that perfect.
I was in LA last week and went to the Getty exhibit on medieval manuscripts, and they had a section on modern revivals. I thought of you, because your work blows away so much of what they had!
