The seventh swan prince, hiding from the court out in the fowl yard with a flock of swans (not his siblings - they have lives they're getting on with) and feeling an increasing need to go south.

The colours are wonderful and the scene wonderfully expresses his feeling of isolation.
The one-winged brother is a character I've been studying for some time. Sadly, he's not a much explored subject, though you would think that he'd have a fascinating perspective on life.
There are a couple books out there that retell/ continue Wild Swans if you're interested.

I would say this piece reminds me most of the Seventh Swan.
